The German-American citizen Maher M., the German-Algerian citizen Mohamed S. and Avid EGM, of German, Spanish and Moroccan nationality, are accused of having collected funds for Nosra at the request of Marius A. and of having him transferred the money in late 2013 or early 2014.

None of the suspect’s last names have been disclosed, in accordance with German privacy laws.

Marius A. was detained in Senegal last September and extradited to Germany in May. He remains in detention.
