ABOU DHABI, July 20, 2021 (WAM) – Macky Sall, President of Senegal, received in the capital Dakar, Major General Dr Ahmed Naser Al Raisi, Inspector General of the Ministry of the Interior, who is touring nine African countries, to strengthen relations with the United Arab Emirates and encourage further cooperation in the fields of police and security.

During the meeting, Sall conveyed greetings from the leaders and people of his country to the leadership of the UAE, and the two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the police forces of the two friendly countries.

At the start of his tour, Al Raisi met several Senegalese officials, including Moustapha Niasse, President of the National Assembly of Senegal, Antoine Félix Diome, Minister of the Interior, and Sido Baker Yado, Inspector General of Police.

Al Raisi also visited the Senegal Police Academy, which also serves many neighboring countries, where he was briefed on achievements and services, including those related to police science programs, exercises and recruit training. of the police.

As a member of the Executive Committee for Asia of the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol), Al Raisi and Senegalese officials discussed their collaboration with Interpol, ways to fight crime and develop programs relevant training.
