The Canada-Africa Chamber of Commerce (https://CanadaAfrica.ca) is pleased to congratulate Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on his re-election.

We recognize and applaud the commitments made by various candidates to deepen ties with Africa, including the Prime Minister’s commitment to an economic cooperation strategy which reads as follows: “ Developing an economic cooperation strategy through the ‘Africa, including support for the African Continental Free Trade Agreement, facilitating increased investment in infrastructure and expanding partnerships in research and innovation.’ ‘

We were delighted to see that some of the recommendations discussed by the Chairman of the Board and the Chairman of the Canada Africa Growth Coalition are reflected in Prime Minister Trudeau’s platform.
